Weraroa Marae

Weraroa Marae was Brymer Group’s first Marae project.

In 2008 Brymer Group were invited to submit a tender for the construction of Weraroa Marae’s Whare-moe, Ablutions and Kaumatua Lounge. This project also required a fire sprinkler system, water tanks and a waste water treatment system. After meeting with the committee and hearing of their frustration with the lack of progress by other consultants and contractors, Brymer Group submitted a tender. Brymer Group was successful in winning the tender and so began the project, finishing on time and within budget.

This is where our journey into Marae development originated.
